No. The Insta360 app guides you through everything, and the camera handles stitching automatically. If you can use a smartphone, you can use this.
Can I use it like a regular action camera?
Yes. It has a single-lens mode that shoots standard 4K video with an ultra-wide field of view — no 360° editing required.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, waterproof to 49ft (15m) straight out of the box, no case needed.
Do I need to edit the 360° footage?
Only if you want to. The app has a one-tap reframing tool that does most of the work for you, and you can also export a flat video directly without any editing.
What's the invisible selfie stick effect?
When you film with the included selfie stick, the camera’s AI automatically removes it from the footage — giving you a floating, drone-like perspective with no post-production needed.
